Previamente publicamos la primera parte de esta entrevista con David Rodríguez, en representación de Antares Estudios. En esta ocasión continuamos con la conversación con uno de los creadores de "El Pequeño Gran Libro"

La industria de la Animación en Venezuela

VA: ¿Cómo calificarían la remuneración de lo proyectos de animación en el país?
DR: Hemos realizado algunos trabajos para el sector privado y ninguno para la administracion pública. La remuneración del sector privado desde nuestro punto de vista es deficiente, actualmente no existe una guía sobre las tarifas, lo que hace que cada quien pague lo que cree conveniente por el trabajo de animación. Debemos trabajar en establecer una tarifa justa y eliminar la gran cantidad de intermediarios que se enriquecen a costa del trabajo ajeno, es hora de organizarnos.


VA: ¿Cómo ven la industria de la animación en Venezuela respecto a Latinoamérica y el Resto del mundo? ¿Cómo vaticinan se comporte el mercado nacional y regional en el futuro?
DR: Estas son dos preguntas con una sola respuesta, para que exista futuro primero debemos hacer historia, nosotros en Venezuela aun estamos en una etapa temprana en comparación con nuestros hermanos argentinos mexicanos y colombianos, pero contamos con gente muy talentosa que trabaja hoy día por solidificar la industria de la animación en nuestro país.

Previously we posted the first part of this interview with David Rodriguez, who represents Antares Estudios. This time we continue the conversation with one of the creators of "The Little Big Book" or in spanish "El Pequeño Gran Libro"

VA: How would you rate the pay of animation projects in the country?
DR: We've done some work for the private sector and none to the government. The remuneration of the private sector in our view is lacking, there is currently no guide on the rates, which makes each person what they think should pay for the work of animation. We must work to establish a fair rate and eliminating the many middlemen who enrich themselves at the expense of the work of others, it's time to get organized.


VA: How do the animation industry in Venezuela with regard to Latin America and the Rest of the World? How to behave predict national and regional market in the future?
DR: These are two questions with one answer, for there future, we must first make history, we in Venezuela are still at an early stage in comparison with our Mexican brothers Argentines and Colombians, but we have very talented people working on today solidify the animation industry in our country.
