Múltiples anuncios y novedades se han mostrado en el E3 2009 en su primer día frente a los medios. Algunos a continuación:
-RockBand The Beatles a la venta en septiembre: con la presencia de Sir Paul McCartney Ringo Starr se reveló la fecha de venta del título el cual contará con 45 canciones remasterizadas, los escenarios estarán basados en sus presentaciones en vivo y como ya es costumbre se podrán descargar álbumes completos. Microsoft se apunta un tanto pues la afamada canción All Your Need is Love será exclusiva para Xbox Live, sin embargo el juego tambien estará disponible para PS3 y Wii.
-Project Natal revelado: Microsoft ha dejado ver su más novedosa propuesta contando con la presencia de Steven Spielberg, quien seguramente asistió al llamado de los dólares en estos tiempos de crisis, más que por un legítimo interés en la industria de los videojuegos. En todo caso, Microsoft plantea llevar a un nuevo nivel lo que Nintendo y Sony previamente había desarrollado con el Wii y el PSeye. En este caso se combina una cámara con captuar de movimiento precisa, capaz de reconocer objetos, caras y expresiones faciales. Las posibilidades de interacción son enormes y de seguro cambiarán la manera de jugar videojuegos. Se espera que en dos años esté a la venta este innovador sistema. Esperemos en esta ocasión Microsoft no escatime en gastos de producción y componentes y se deje atrás la vergonzosa estadística de 66% de consolas quemadas por defecto de fábricación, tambien conocido como "Aro de la Muerte"
-Sony presentó el nuevo PSP Go, el cual evoluciona su ya tradicional forma y le coloca una pantalla tipo sliding, de menor tamaño que la anterior. Entre sus nuevas características se encuentran la colocación de una memoria interna de 16GB, la eliminación del sistema de disco Umd, el cual resta así mismo cierta cantidad de peso, y la incorporación de tecnología Bluetooth asegurando una mejor comunicación con el PS3
-Entre los juegos que se avecinan se encuentran: Final Fantasy XIII, el cual se espera para la Primavera del 2010 tanto en PS3 como Xbox 360; Metal Gear Rising, fue reclamado por Microsoft como exclusivo para la Xbox 360, sin embargo el equipo de Kojima dejó entrever que saldrá tambien en PS3 y PC, mostrando a Raiden como el nuevo protagonista de la saga. Konami, por su parte no ha revelado si existirá o nó exclusividad con Microsoft. Así mismo el bien recibido Left For Dead prepara su segunda entrega y Activision continua explotando el género musical, esta vez con DJ Hero y su plato de mezcla.

Microsoft said that super famous song All Your Need is Love will be exclusive to Xbox Live, however the game will also be available for PS3 and Wii.
Project-Natal revealed: Microsoft has shown its latest project, with the presence of Steven Spielberg, who certainly heard the call of the green cash in these times of financial crisis, rather than a legitimate interest in the game industry. In any case, Microsoft poses to a new level as Nintendo and Sony had previously developed with the Wii and PSeye. In this case a camera is combined with accurate motion capture, able to recognize objects, faces and facial expressions. The interaction possibilities are enormous and surely will change the way to play video games. It is expected that in two years is up for sale this innovative system. Hopefully this time Microsoft does not skimp on production costs and components and leave behind the embarrassing statistic of 66% of consoles burned by manufacturing defects, also known as "Ring of Death"
Sony introduced the new PSP Go, which is evolving its traditional form and a screen positioned sliding type, smaller than the previous one. Among its new features include the placement of an internal memory of 16GB, the elimination of the UMD disc, which also drops a certain amount of weight, and the incorporation of Bluetooth technology to ensure better communication with the PS3
